MMA vs LEO

Just read that some police are training specifically to counter the threat posed by practitioners of MMA...which leads me to several possible conclusions:

A: Enoughs cops have trained in MMA that they realize it can be a real threat.
B: MMA practitioners have a high rate of criminality...see Rampage, Penn et. al.

For the record, it has been many years since I have had "negative contact" with the police...
